Job summary

Tri-Arc Manufacturing is hiring skilled steel MIG welders for two shifts at our Blawnox, PA plant. Starting wages are $25.33/hour on 1st shift and $25.93/hour on 2nd shift, with a $0.60/hour differential.

We offer a strong benefits package and the chance to join the United Steelworkers Union after 520 probationary hours. You will set up, operate, and tend welding machines to join components, assemble and clamp workpieces, and read job specs to adjust equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a welding test.
• Your own welding gear.
• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and tend MIG welding machines to fabricate components.
• Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces in fixtures for bonding/heat-treating.
• Lay out, position, align and fit components in fixtures.
• Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure for welding.
• Read job specs to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Operate equipment and weld parts using MIG welding equipment.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Operate punch/drill presses, shears, saws and tube-bending equipment.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, starting at $25.33/hour
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, starting at $25.93/hour (includes a $0.60/hour shift differential)

• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting
• Operate punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube-bending equipment

What you'll need:

• Ability to take and pass a welding test
• Your own welding gear

Requirements

• Welding Experience Preferred
• Experience with power tools, such as drills, hand tools and machinery
• Manufacturing experience preferred
