Job summary

Sunbelt Modular, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and repair metal components for modular structures in Kentucky.

You will perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel, read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure weld quality meets safety standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a welding certificate, at least two years of experience, and familiarity with OSHA safety rules.

Description

Position Objective: The Welder is responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and components by using various welding techniques. This role ensures strong, precise welds that meet safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform welding using techniques such as MIG and TIG – aluminum and stainless steel
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Set up welding equipment and select proper materials for each job
• Inspect welds to ensure strength, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Repair metal components and structures as needed
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in safe working conditions
• Follow safety procedures, including proper use of protective gear
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials prior to welding
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
