Job summary

McNICHOLS in Nashville is seeking a Welder to perform welding and fabrication of steel, stainless and aluminum products, plus general warehouse duties to fulfill customer orders.

The role requires 1-2 years welding experience, ability to read measurements, and a teamwork mindset. We provide uniforms, safety gear, training, skill-based pay, and strong opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of welding experience or comparable technical training.
• Must be able to set up welding machine and pass welding tests for 2F/3F on ¼" thick metal.
• Ability to read and understand precise measurements.
• Follow detailed work instructions and maintain high quality standards.
• Must be able to communicate and work well as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Weld (GMAW) steel, stainless and aluminum.
• Cut metal using shears, saw, plasma cutter or other equipment.
• Operate power tools including sanders, grinders, etc.
• Operate a forklift, side loader, or crane as needed to move materials.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks to complete customer order including pulling stock and crating product.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Welder to join our team. The Welder performs welding and other fabrication of steel, stainless, and aluminum products as well as other general warehouse duties to fulfill customer orders.

• Cut metal using shears, saw, plasma cutter or other equipment
• Operate power tools including sanders, grinders, etc.

• Must be able to setup welding machine and pass welding test for horizontal and vertical (2F/3F) weld on ¼" thick metal
• Ability to read and understand precise measurements
• Ability follow detailed work instructions and maintain high quality standards
• Must be self-motivated to provide quality products and service for our customers
• Must be able to communicate and work well as a team member
