Job summary

SURESTAFF is seeking TIG Welders to join our team in Mundelein, IL. The ideal candidate will have TIG welding experience on stainless steel and aluminum, or MIG welding experience with grinding tools. Compensation ranges from $19 to $25 per hour with a benefits package and 2nd shift availability.

Overtime is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We offer health insurance coverage and a commitment to employee development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience.
• Experience with Miller or Lincoln welders.
• Ability to follow ISO procedures.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring TIG Welders for a large, well-known client in Mundelein, IL. Ideal applicants should have experience in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum, or experience with MIG welding processes and various grinding tools. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19-$25/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 2nd shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

TIG Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized, hot roll and cold roll materials
• Install or repair metal components
• Use grinding equipment in the cleaning process
• Follow blueprints or technical schematics
• Ability to lead co-workers and prioritize/manage workload of existing jobs in the welding area

TIG Welder Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Experience working with Miller Welders/Lincoln Welders
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
• Good written & verbal skills; Bilingual is a plus
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary
