The Welder will work with a variety of materials, interpret blueprints, and operate welding equipment to produce high-quality welds. Essential Job Functions
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Measure and mark workpieces using straightedges, rulers, and calipers to ensure accuracy.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding processes.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, ensuring proper penetration and fusion of metals.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and defects, and make necessary repairs as needed.
  • Clean and prepare workpieces by removing rust, scale, and other impurities.
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning and perform routine maintenance as required.
