Job summary

inExhaust, an industrial silencer and exhaust systems manufacturer in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking skilled welders who can work safely and with precision in a fast-growing team. Candidates should be comfortable with various welding methods and reading technical drawings.

You will set up and operate welding equipment, inspect welded joints, and assist with insulation handling while maintaining high safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
• Experience reading technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.
• Deftness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
• Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Maintain and operate equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Touch, cut, and handle fiberglass insulation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.

• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements)

Education and Experience
