Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a skilled welder to join our outdoor fabrication team in Lebanon, KY. You will read project plans, weld MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored on stainless, galvanized steel, and aluminum, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

The role requires at least 2 years of welding experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read blueprints. A welding certification is preferred, and candidates must pass a welding test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder.
• Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Must pass a welding test.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.
• Ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• The ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to work in various weather conditions.
