Job summary

Geremarie seeks a skilled TIG welder to join our Lake Zurich, IL manufacturing team. You will weld aluminum parts and assemblies, read blueprints, and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of TIG welding experience (aluminum required).
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure).
• Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience welding thin-gauge aluminum.
• AWS certification (a plus).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; ISO familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum parts and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for aluminum materials.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and specifications.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces as required.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE, and company policies; maintain a clean 5S work area.
• Communicate production needs with supervisors and team members.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
