Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Kilgore, TX seeks an experienced welder to perform structural and precision welding on geotechnical drilling equipment components using MIG, TIG, and stick processes to meet design specifications.

You will read fabrication drawings, set up equipment, inspect and repair welds, grind finishes, and maintain welders while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG preferred.
• Ability to read weld drawings and symbols.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel assemblies per blueprints and WPS.
• Set up welding equipment and select filler materials.
• Inspect welds for defects and perform repairs as needed.
• Grind and finish welds to specification.
• Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Maintain welding equipment in good working order.
• Follow all safety protocols including hot work and PPE requirements.
