Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking motivated individuals with welding experience for an in-person, full-time role. You will perform MIG and Fluxcore spray arc welding, set up fixtures, operate welding equipment, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Starting pay is $21.00–$27.00 per hour with Day shift training and progression to higher rates after passing certification (AWS D1.1 preferred or certified within 2 weeks).

Qualifications

• Some prior welding experience required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Be able to train on Day shift for at least 2 weeks.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Fluxcore spray arc welding to company standards.
• Maintain production and quality levels.
• Set up fixtures and operate welding equipment and processes as specified.
• Keep welding equipment maintained, calibrated, and in safe working order.
• Generate simple written reports to document production activity as required.
• Follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Take direction well and work effectively with your team.

We’re looking for motivated individuals with some welding experience who are ready to grow their skills. This role is perfect for someone who’s comfortable with basic welding techniques and wants to advance into full certification.

Pay & Certification

• Start at$21/hrduring training
• Increase to$25/hr (Day)after passing certification in3F and 1Gpositions (MIG & Fluxcore spray arc)
• Increase to$27/hr (night)after passing certification in3F and 1Gpositions (MIG & Fluxcore spray arc)
• AWS D1.1 welding certificationpreferred (or certified within 2 weeks of training)
