Job summary

Chase Doors in Ohio is seeking an entry level welder. A welding certification or prior experience is required to join our production team and help fabricate metal components.

This full-time day shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with an hourly rate of $22–$25. You will set up machines, operate projection welders, and ensure accurate workmanship on frames and reinforcements. Performance and quality are important, with a focus on safety and adherence to specs.

Responsibilities

• Mark identification information on material for communication with fellow employees and end user.
• Install reinforcements (hinge/strike reinforcements, anchors, corner gussets, closer reinforcements).

This is an opening for an entry level welder with either a welding certification or prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Setup machines to exacting specifications and prepare machines for production
• Operate various projection welding machine setups
• Arrange job parts by line number and by like pieces for processing
• Check all dimensions/locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handing for accuracy
• Mark identification information on material for communication with fellow employees as well as end user
• Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets and closer reinforcements
