Job summary

Essential Personnel, Inc. is seeking a dependable Welder for our Grand Island location. The role requires MIG and pulse welding experience and the ability to read blueprints. You will operate robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality components and ensure welds meet specifications.

You will also set up welding equipment, perform daily maintenance, and inspect finished work with calipers, weld gauges, and tape measures to verify quality. Safety and precision are central to this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and pulse welding; robotic welding experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, welding specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience using inspection and measuring tools (calipers, weld gauges, tape measures).

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and pulse welding on metal components according to specifications.
• Operate and monitor robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality components.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts are welded accurately.
• Set up welding equipment, make necessary adjustments, and conduct daily maintenance.
• Inspect completed work using precision tools to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and all safety guidelines.
