Job summary

Dexter is seeking a Welder to support daily production by performing welding operations with established procedures and equipment. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and steady output in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with opportunities to grow welding skills on modern equipment and clear expectations.

You’ll operate MIG welding equipment, monitor robotic welders when needed, and collaborate to meet production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience.
• Willingness to complete a written and hands-on weld test.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and basic documents.
• Safety-minded with a reliable work ethic.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment following production procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate welding equipment following production procedures

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with a team lift
• Ability to stand, reach, balance, and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Frequent grasping, pinching, and fine motor work
• Occasional bending and squatting
• Indoor manufacturing environment
• Exposure to heat or cold depending on season
• Required use of PPE (eye, ear, hand, and foot protection)
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
