Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks an experienced Welder to perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects across campus and facilities. You will fabricate from drawings, support piping and structural work, and ensure safety compliance with NFPA 51B and Joint Commission standards.
The role requires 3+ years welding experience in commercial/healthcare settings, high school diploma or GED, and AWS welding certification preferred with OSHA 10
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform overhead welding. Exposure to extreme heat, sparks, fumes, and UV radiation — full PPE required at all times. Work in confined spaces, elevated platforms, and outdoor environments. On-call availability for urgent structural or piping repairs.
