Position Summary: Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other instructions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Set up weld machine parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
• Read blueprints and understand standard weld symbols.
• Read a tape measure.
• Operate a brake press.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Maintain a self-motivated work ethic.
• Be dependable and responsible.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Role Qualifications:

• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and warehouse housekeeping.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Ability to achieve certification to customer requirements as applicable.

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

• Strong welding and fabricating background with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
