Position Details

This is a weekend shift position with a starting pay of $28/hr.

Essential Functions
  1. Fuse or weld metal structural components using GMAW arc welding for communication towers, components, and overhead sign structures.
  2. Perform welding operations based on blueprints or written specifications, determining operation sequence.
  3. Use all safety devices and wear mandatory personal protective equipment.
  4. Adjust welding equipment to prescribed settings.
  5. Maintain and operate production tooling, fixtures, and welding equipment safely.
  6. Read and complete labor reports, shop forms, and blueprints.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of MIG welding experience in a production environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
