Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The responsibilities include:

• Preparing surfaces, fitting parts, and welding piping and manifolds
• Cutting, grinding, drilling holes, and welding steel according to blueprint specifications
• Using plasma cutters to cut I-beams and steel plates
• Tack welding scrap metal to outline jigs for assembly
• Positioning parts in jigs, filing, chiseling, and grinding to prepare for welding
• Annealing parts with an acetylene torch to relieve stresses

Job Requirements

• 2-4 years of TIG or MIG welding experience
• Experience welding carbon steel structural shapes, skid frames, and chassis
• Ability to weld from all angles and positions, with mechanical aptitude
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform stooping, crouching, bending, climbing, and kneeling
