Trillium Construction is seeking Flux Core Welders for a fabrication shop in Decatur, Alabama.

This is a full-time opportunity. Pay rate for the welders that meet the qualifications is $23-25+ depending on experience and skillset. No per diem is available. Working 40 hours a week with some overtime.

Job Details

• Welding Process: FCAW-Flux-Core Welding
• Filler Metal: 0.045 E71T-12C/M-H8
• Material: Carbon Steel
• Plate thickness: 1” note: backing strip will be used with run-off tabs
• Weld test positions: V Groove 3G (uphill) test
• NDT/testing type: visual of root and final cap and 2 side bends.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be able to work independently or as a team.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience and be able to safely perform tasks given.
• Candidates will need to be proficient in the Flux Core Welding process.
• All candidates must be able to pass a 9-panel drug screen and background check.
• OSHA 10 is preferred.
• Type 2 Class C Hard hat.
• Must wear gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
