Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Grand Island to hire a Welder. In this role you will perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, ductile iron, and aluminum, read blueprints, and maintain a safe, quality-focused work environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of welding experience, a Certified TIG/MIG Welder credential, and the stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of welding and fitting experience with stainless steel, ductile iron, aluminum, and other materials.
• Certified TIG/MIG Welder or equivalent hands-on welding experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, bend, and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, maintain quality standards, and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on a variety of materials including stainless steel, ductile iron, and aluminum.
• Produce quality parts according to production schedules and manufacturing targets.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and customer specifications to ensure product quality.

Pay Range: 23.00/hour DOE
