Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo's Producing Organization is hiring 1st and 2nd shift Welders. You will work from production orders, routings, blueprints, and process documentation to layout, fit, and weld fabricated materials, creating formed structures. Responsibilities include:

1. Layout, fit, and weld materials using tools like production orders, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
2. Enter data accurately into the MRP system (e.g., SAP) and maintain inventory records.
3. Keep accurate records such as production orders, data collection, and TPM sheets.
4. Maintain welding equipment.
5. Operate forklifts and cranes safely.
6. Ensure quality throughout the welding process.
7. Lifting 50-100 pounds regularly.

What You Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma with strong math and reading/writing skills.
• Ability to obtain forklift/crane certification.
• Experience with MIG, flux core, and submerged arc welding.
• Experience with cutting torches, grinders, sanders, and wheels.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and interpret AWS symbols.
• Perform quality inspections.
• Basic computer skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
