Job summary

Novae LLC in Columbia City, IN is seeking weld team members responsible for welding quality trailers in a safe, fast-paced team environment and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities include using PPE, starting up at shift, operating power tools, reading work orders, performing quality checks, inspecting equipment, and assisting in other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work 10 hour shifts with potential overtime.
• Willing to submit a pre-employment background check.
• Self-directed and able to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and wear designated PPE and tools.
• Report to work on time to support production startup and throughput goals.
• Operate all power tools and machinery on the weld line(s) effectively and respectfully.
• Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks and final inspections as directed by supervisor.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections prior to shift startup to ensure safety and equipment effectiveness.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Job Summary

Weld team members are responsible for welding quality trailer with outstanding service in a safe manner and must be able to manufacture in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Ensure your own safety by always using designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools designed and rated for the task, complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Report to work on time to support production startup and throughput goals.
• Operate all power tools and machinery on the weld line(s) effectively and respectfully.
• Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks and product inspections by completing final inspection sheets, as directed by assigned production supervisor.
• Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to shift startup to ensure the safety of you and your coworkers, as well as the operational effectiveness of equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED, or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities in directly job-related experiences.
