Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust spot-welding equipment and fixtures.
• Assemble and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform secondary welding processes including grinding, polishing, weld cleaning, and sandblasting.
• Read blueprints, material gauges, and tolerances.
• Verify material thickness and inspect parts for quality, burrs, and defects.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of raw materials and work orders.
• Deliver completed parts to the next work center.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate production issues, shortages, and quality concerns.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
