Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our dynamic team at TB Industrial LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and a passion for precision work. As a Welder, you will be responsible for critical welds on tank shells, floors, and nozzles following AWS/API codes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform welding operations on various types of metals (carbon/stainless steel) using SMAW, GTAW, or FCAW. Interpret Welding symbols and read blueprints.
  • Operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop effective solutions for fabrication and repair projects. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to welding processes or equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and welding procedures (WPS)to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certified in 3G, 4G, and 6G positions in welding.
  • 5+ years experience as a welder in AST or pressure vessel welding
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and familiarity with metal fabrication processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors or in confined spaces.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
