Baxter in Batesville, IN is seeking skilled welders to join our manufacturing team. The role involves setting up and performing welding operations (GMAW, GTAW, brazing) on parts and assemblies, and maintaining safe, productive workflow on the shop floor.

Your Role at Baxter This is where my hands make life-sustaining products The responsibility of the Welder is to set-up and perform a variety of welding, (GMAW, GTAW, brazing etc.) finishing operations and processes on piece parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies. Move stock and completed parts to and from workstations, stock racks and holding areas. May be required to rack and un-rack parts. Work according to instructions and procedures to weld various parts and components in prescribed sequences and locations.

To that end, this position has a salary pay rate of $23.32, plus shift differential for off shifts. The pay rate is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
