Job summary

Kärcher is seeking a skilled welder to join our Colorado manufacturing team. The role focuses on MIG, Pulse Spray Arc, and limited TIG welding, with prototyping from drawings and strict quality checks.

Qualifications

  • Must have MIG and TIG welding experience and be able to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Welding proficiency with ability to pass a weld test and work with standard shop math.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform GMAW (MIG), Pulse Spray Arc, and limited TIG welding per requirement.
  • Build prototypes from engineering drawings without specialized fixturing.
  • Inspect workpieces and verify accuracy against orders and blueprints.
  • Maintain clean, organized and safe work area at all times.
  • Follow written, oral, or diagram instructions in a fast-paced setting.

Job description

Pay Range: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience

This Is How You WOW
  • Perform GMAW (MIG), Pulse Spray Arc, and limited TIG welding as required.
  • Build prototypes using engineering drawings without the use of specialized fixturing.
  • Ensure the highest quality of parts by checking first and last workpieces and periodically verifying accuracy against work orders and blueprints.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

  • At least 3 years of related welding experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school graduate preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong technical skills in MIG and TIG welding, with the ability to pass a weld test.
  • Proficiency in basic math, including multiplication, division, and trigonometry.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work comfortably in a manufacturing environment.
