Job description

Job Title: Welded Parts Finisher

We are hiring immediately for a Welded Parts Finisher.

What you will be doing as a Welded Parts Finisher:
  1. Welded Parts Finishing: Smooth and finish welded parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet appearance specifications.

  2. Leak Testing: Perform leak tests on welded details and assemblies to ensure integrity.

  3. Detail Assembly: Check, join, straighten, or hand form detail and weld assemblies according to specifications and instructions.

  4. Metal Forming Tools: Use metal forming and trimming tools like hammers, hand shears, and drills, and operate fabrication equipment such as sanders, grinders, buffers, expanders, reamers, and torches.

  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of your work meets the required standards.

What you need to be successful:
  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment is needed.

  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with your peers is helpful.
