Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a Welder II in Houston, MS to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures using MIG/TIG welding. You will interpret blueprints and welding symbols, set up parts, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires 6 months+ welding experience, a GED or high school diploma, and strong attention to detail. You will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to advance as you contribute to complex projects and maintain equipment and work areas.

Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma required.
  • 6 months+ hands-on welding & fabrication experience.
  • Proficient in welding safety and parameters.
  • Familiarity with metallurgy and weld symbols desired.

Responsibilities

  • Plan work order procedures and gather tools/materials.
  • Weld, cut, grind, and finish metal surfaces.
  • Monitor welding to avoid warping or damage.
  • Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace.
  • Perform quality control and required documentation.
