Job summary

Dakota Bodies Llc is hiring a Welding Supervisor to coordinate welders on projects, monitor progress, and uphold safety standards. You will inspect finished products for quality and safety, lead a team with strong work ethic, and coach colleagues to improve performance.

The role requires MIG and manual welding experience, blueprint literacy, and solid communication skills. Candidates should be able to train, delegate tasks, and adapt to new environments while maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years supervisory experience in welding or fabrication.
• Experience with MIG welding and manual welding equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding specs.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Team in a positive manner.
• Train on all job functions, blueprint readings and use of tools and welders.
• Meet schedules and expectations for project milestones.
• Train all team members and monitor competencies in productivity, quality, and safety.

A welding supervisor will coordinate each welder on the projects, monitor the progress of the operations, and ensure the safety of all workers. He or she must also inspect the finished product to ensure it is built properly and safely.
