Oshkosh Vocational Tennessee is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure parts meet design intent and customer expectations, with testing and documentation per procedures. The role requires interpreting blueprints, using inspection tools, and reporting nonconformance during startup and production.
You will verify welds, calibrate tools, and communicate quality updates to engineering and management. Training, weekly pay, and a strong People First culture accompany the position.

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that every functional area is producing parts or products that meet the designed intent and fulfills a customer's expectation regarding the performance of the machine they are purchasing; verify everyone is following the Standard Work outlined and report on any nonconformance. The Quality Inspector will write reports and gather data not expected of assembly team members, communicate customer expectations, and confirm all functional testing has been completed and documented per business test procedures; verify the operational stability of all new product during startup and report out on the performance to engineering and Top Management.
