Job summary

Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for an Operator Weld in our Sylacauga, Alabama Stamping Facility. The Weld Operator is responsible for operating the Robot Weld Cell and producing quality parts.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience reviewing part specifications and defects, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience reviewing part specifications and defects.
• Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Operate the Robot Weld Cell and produce quality parts.
• Document and report inventory.
• Complete required documentation during/ prior to end of shift.
• Maintain & improve housekeeping within work area.
• Other duties assigned by the management team.
• Ability to meet quota and standards by performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to retain information and communicate effectively.
• Able to work all shifts: Midnights, Days, Afternoons.
