Our facilities support high quality product manufacturing and we provide a timely and flexible approach to meeting the needs of our customers.

Role

Support production in meeting daily requirements by repairing and improving production equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Preventative maintenance inspections, equipment repairs and improvements, work area organization, assist engineering with equipment installation, quality countermeasures, spare parts tracking, emergency breakdown response, work order completion, program back ups, safety/PPE, acquire training as needed, downtime recording and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Perform PM inspections, make necessary repairs during PM inspection and follow up with production to verify repairs are correct.
  • Make equipment repairs and improvements identified from PM inspections and downtime analysis to meet monthly downtime goals.
  • Daily 5S organization of work areas, ensuring tool storage, electrical cabinet integrity, removal of maintenance items, and COP activities.
  • Assist engineering with equipment installation, standards, and KGZ activities.
  • Investigate quality related incidents, identify root cause and implement countermeasures.
  • Verify MRO has appropriate spare parts for daily operation.
  • Respond to calls during production, log into Plex workcenter, and coordinate with other technicians and supervisors as required.
  • Support assigned work areas and surrounding areas, answering line calls when necessary.
  • Review maintenance communication board daily for business plans, improvements, downtime causes, etc.
  • Complete assigned work orders on schedule and update supervisor upon completion.
  • Record programmable device backups as scheduled.
  • Follow all safety policies and correct use of all PPE.
  • Initiate needed training to maintain skills and knowledge.
  • Verify downtime selections in Plex are correct and record entries into the Equipment Log.
  • Follow up with line associates and Team Leaders at least twice per day to check for recurring problems.
  • Fill in timesheet on a daily basis.
  • Complete assigned PM tasks and assist in identifying future PM tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Compensation
  • Weekly Pay
  • Additional $1.00/hour at 5 and 10 years of service
  • Additional $0.50/hour for 2nd or 3rd shift premium
