Job summary

RSI Group (SmartCap) is seeking a Weld Cell Operator to join our production team in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on operating robotic welding cells, ensuring high-quality welded components, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.

The operator will follow blueprints and maintain equipment while upholding safety and teamwork in a non-climate-controlled environment. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with robotic weld cells.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or mechanical drawings to plan welds.
• Prepare raw materials and verify quality prior to production sequence.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S/lean practices.
