Position Description
The WDPC will play a crucial role in the academic, residential, and social aspects of the pre‑college program by serving as the point person for all student and parent related needs, providing support, direction, and a seamless line of communication regarding real‑time updates.
Responsibilities
WDPCs are responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative duties, including but not limited to:
- Greeting and welcoming students and providing parents and students with accurate information regarding classes, locations and events on campus.
- Answering phone and email inquiries with the highest professional standards.
- Performing daily attendance checks.
- Emailing parents & guardians regarding unaccounted day students who are missing from class.
- If missing student is residential, student must be located:
- Check dorm room, check classroom, contact roommate, call mobile phone.
- After 30–45 minutes, parent/guardian must be informed.
- Running Missing Student Report and following the Missing Student Protocol promptly and efficiently, looping in the appropriate staff members when necessary.
- Creating pastoral notes in Orah on student profiles.
- Attending weekly WD staff meetings.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- 1+ year work experience (summer camp, boarding school, college campus, etc.).
- Previous customer service–related experience preferred.
- Experience with youth in summer camps or residential programs on the administrative supportive level.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, communication platforms similar to Orah, and Pronto.
- Three references required.
Training Requirements
- Virtual Training: May 26, 28, and 29.
- Move‑in: May 31.
- Term 2: June 22 – July 3.
- Term 3: July 5 – July 17.
- Term 4: July 19 – July 31.
- Move‑out: August 1.
Work Schedule
Multiple shifts between the hours of 7 am–11 pm; flexible schedule including weekends. This is a non‑residential position; housing will not be provided.

Language Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Ability to speak another language is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, travel up and down stairs, crouch, stoop, and reach.
Other Requirements
All staff will be working closely with minors and must pass a criminal background check and successfully complete all training. All positions will require use of one’s personal cell phone.
