Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate is responsible for the following duties, in addition to other assigned tasks:

• Greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and resolve concerns politely and professionally. Follow company policies during checkout to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Identify and shop customer orders promptly to ensure accurate and fresh deliveries.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and registers, perform checkout procedures, and efficiently bag merchandise.
• Contact customers by phone to address questions or concerns as needed.
• Use console and picker devices to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure transaction accuracy, proper charging, and secure handling of cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons, following all security and legal guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department, following schedules and health and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth department and store operations and continuously improve job performance.
• Utilize all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position currently has no supervisory duties.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Successful performance requires ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations. Requirements include:
