Job summary

You will perform point-of-care testing and phlebotomy as indicated, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed first semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Successfully completed a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
• A certified CMA, CMA (AAMA), RMA, CNA, EMT, or PCT certification may substitute for education.
• Experience in an office or clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data during visits.
• Measure vital signs, weight, height, and report changes.
• Coordinate tests and services with the care team.
• Perform point-of-care testing and phlebotomy as indicated.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient room readiness.
