Job summary

Unicity USA Inc. in Las Vegas, NV seeks a detail-oriented Weigh-Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will weigh and blend ingredients, ensure batch records compliance, and operate specialized equipment in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

You will maintain clean, compliant processes under cGMP standards, document data accurately, and cross-train to support multiple production functions. This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits starting within a month.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented weigh-up technician responsible for precise weighing and mixing of ingredients per batch records.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and batch documentation with high accuracy.
• Commitment to cGMP compliant manufacturing practices and clean work areas.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and issue ingredients using scales and blending equipment per batch records.
• Operate, clean, disassemble, assemble and set up manufacturing equipment per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow company policies and cGMPs.
• Complete required documentation for cleaning, equipment setup and process data.
• Perform In-Process Sampling and monitor equipment performance for malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with Weigh-Up Specialists and manufacturing personnel to meet production goals.
• Label and handle materials pulled from inventory for individual batches.
• Cross-train in other positions to support production goals.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Weigh-Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the precise weighing and mixing of ingredients for production batches, ensuring strict conformance to specifications and batch records. This position offers an opportunity to operate and maintain specialized equipment and cross-train in other vital functions within our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weighing and Blending: Accurately weigh and issue ingredients using various scales and blending equipment as specified by batch records.
• Equipment Management: Operate, clean, disassemble, assemble, and set up manufacturing equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times and adhere strictly to all company policies, cGMP's (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOPs to protect against contamination and ensure production efficiency.
• Documentation: Complete required documentation for cleaning, equipment setup, and manufacturing process data in log books and batch records with high accuracy.
• Quality & Monitoring: Perform In-Process Sampling according to instructions, monitor equipment performance to identify malfunctions, and inspect equipment for wear and tear.
• Troubleshooting: Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and report major repair needs to the Production Manager.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other Weigh-up Specialists and manufacturing personnel to complete operations and support the overall production schedule.
• Inventory & Material Handling: Properly label and handle all materials pulled from inventory and weighed for individual batches.
• Training: Cross-train in other positions to support overall production goals and career development.
