Perdue Farms, Inc. is seeking a WPL Production Associate to support fast-paced poultry production and palletizing operations. You will work at various stations along the line, verify labels, operate equipment, and help maintain food safety standards with a team-focused approach.

Eligible candidates typically hold a high school diploma, prefer warehouse experience, and are comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be available, and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the role.

Summary

Step into a hands-on role where your work directly impacts the products customers rely on every day. As a WPL Production Associate, you will play a key part in keeping our production and distribution operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. From setting up production lines to palletizing, supporting box room operations, and handling totes, you will help ensure products are prepared, packaged, and delivered with quality and care. You will be part of a team that values safety, consistency, and teamwork, with clear processes and high standards guiding everything we do. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work, take pride in doing things right the first time, and thrive in a dynamic environment where every shift makes a difference.

This position has a target wage of $20.00 - $22.95 per hour, with negotiated increases. Overtime may be available.

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in a distribution warehouse.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

When in a plant environment:

• Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

• Ability to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks.

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing boxes.

• The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required.

• May work in an environment with varying temperatures between 28 degrees and 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

• May handle products varying in temperatures between 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

• May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.

• Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
