Job summary

Planet Pharma Group located in Manassas, Virginia, is looking for a Production Worker to support the production of packaged goods according to Standard Operating Procedures. The role includes following instructions from supervisors and performing tasks autonomously within a loud work environment.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED and have strong math and problem-solving skills. You will be required to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in basic math and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Job description

Pay range: 19-21/hr
*depending on experience

BASIC FUNCTION

Support production of packaged goods according to Standard Operating Procedures and specified quality standards. Carries out specific instructions from Production Manager/Supervisor in accordance with the daily packaging schedule.

TEAMWORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines, experience and judgment to perform the functions of the job and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks autonomously and with proficiency; Works under general supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree, (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
