Job description

Texas Health Dallas Hospital Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is hosting weekly Registered Nurse (RN) Virtual Interview Days. We would like to invite you, your friends, family, and coworkers to attend.

When: Every Wednesday starting April 2nd and ending April 30th

Where: Virtually through Microsoft Teams By Appointment Only

What: We're looking for healthcare professionals like you to join our Texas Health family!

You could walk away with your dream job as a:

  1. CVICU Nurse joining an expanding, well established CVICU team
  2. Have the opportunity to work with ECMO Patients
  3. Work in a 30-bed CVICU that is a Level I Trauma facility

Potential on-the-spot job offers!!!

Work Shifts Available:

  1. Nights
  2. Weekend and Holiday requirements for each shift

CVICU RN Job Qualifications:

  1. Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  2. BSN preferred.
  3. Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
  4. One-year critical care nursing experience, or completion of an RN residency required
  5. Cardiac ICU experience strongly preferred – including open-heart surgery recovery, IABP, Impella, CRRT, and bedside ECMO management.
  6. BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required AND
  7. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required (Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred)
  8. CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days Required
