Job Overview

Are you looking for flexible or supplemental work to help clients in their homes? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients in various settings, including clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients improve their mobility and overall physical function.

Duties

  • Assist physical therapists in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising therapist regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, home programs, and safety measures to enhance recovery.
