Job Title: Per Diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Weekends Only)

Company: Home Health Care, Inc.

Schedule: Saturdays AND Sundays (can be every other)

Pay: $42 - $46 per visit

Overview

Are you looking for supplemental or weekend-only work? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities. This role is essential in promoting the health and well-being of individuals across various settings, including skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and home health environments.

Duties
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at improving mobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises to facilitate recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress notes in compliance with facility policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols within the clinical environment.
Skills

  • Knowledge of occupational health practices and principles.
