Overview

Are you looking for supplemental or weekend only work? Weare seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational TherapyAssistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. The COTA will work under thesupervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeuticservices that help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities.This role is essential in promoting the health and well-being of individualsacross various settings, including skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and homehealth environments.

Duties

  • Assist in implementingindividualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct patientcare, including therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at improvingmobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Monitor patient progressand report any changes or concerns to the supervising OccupationalTherapist.
  • Educate patients andtheir families on treatment plans and home exercises to facilitaterecovery.
  • Maintain accuratedocumentation of patient care activities and progress notes in compliancewith facility policies.
  • Collaborate withinterdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
