Job summary

ACG Hospice seeks an After-Hours Hospice Registered Nurse for a full-time, on-call role to cover weekends and holidays. You will work with the 24/7 RN triage team and the local hospice staff to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and their families.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with clinical nursing experience (hospice preferred) and a caring approach. This position emphasizes work/life balance and professional development within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred)
• Reliable transportation; ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift 80-100 lbs effectively

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours on-call nursing care from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday
• Collaborate with 24/7 RN triage and the local hospice team
• Advocate for patients and families to ensure quality care and adherence to the plan of care

After-Hours Hospice RNs are salaried full-time positions to cover on call after hours from 5pm on Friday to 8am Monday morning. You will be fully supported by our 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department alongside your local hospice team.
