Job summary

Agape Care Group is seeking an After-Hours Hospice Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care after hours. You will advocate for patients, coordinate with families and the hospice team, and join a dedicated 24/7 triage support structure.

This full-time role covers on-call hours from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within a compassionate, supportive leadership environment.

Qualifications

• Heart to serve patients and families.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state RN license.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting; hospice experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation; ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift 80–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be a voice for patients and communicate with the plan of care among patient, family, and hospice team.
• Serve as patient advocate to ensure every patient receives quality care.
• Provide after-hours on-call nursing coverage Fridays 5pm to Mondays 8am.

As a registered nurse, you’ll be a voice for your patients, all while communicating with everyone involved in the plan of care-the patient, the patient’s family, and the hospice care team. You’ll serve as the patient advocate being able to ensure every patient receives the quality care they deserve. After-Hours Hospice RNs are salaried full-time positions to cover on call after hours from 5pm on Friday to 8am Monday morning. You will be fully supported by our 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department alongside your local hospice team.
