Job summary

Soccer Shots Berks is seeking a passionate, part-time soccer coach to work with children ages 2 to 8 in Chester County, PA. You’ll lead engaging sessions, set up and take down fields, and embody the Soccer Shots curriculum.

No prior coaching is required; we provide paid training, flexible schedules, and opportunities for advancement. You’ll help kids build confidence, teamwork, and love of the game while keeping everyone safe.

Qualifications

• No prior sports/coaching experience required.
• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Ability to stand, jog and model children’s soccer skills.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with enthusiasm.
• Conduct sessions for children 2–8, including field set-up and takedown.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement.
• Use Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development techniques.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment.
• Follow on-site safety and attendance protocols.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
