Job Type: Part-Time Contractor (Weekend Shifts)

Job Summary

Make a real difference in young athletes' lives as a Weekend Flag Football Official with i9 Sports! More than just calling flags, you'll be a mentor, coach, and role model, creating a fun and positive environment where kids can learn, grow, and love the game.

Responsibilities

Ensure a fun, educational, and safe environment for all players by fully understanding and enforcing the i9 Sports rulebook.

Promote sportsmanship and fair play through teaching and demonstrating core concepts.

Set up and break down game/practice field equipment efficiently.

Manage time and scorekeeping during games, tailoring instruction and competition to age-appropriate levels.

Consistently demonstrate a positive and encouraging attitude towards players and colleagues.

Provide superior customer service to participants and their families.

Assist volunteer coaches during practice sessions by leading drills and answering questions.

Foster a collaborative and supportive coaching environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

Effectively interact with players, coaches, and spectators, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Possess at least 2 years of experience as a player, coach, or official in the specific sport.

Demonstrate initiative and the ability to solve problems that arise during shifts independently.

Prioritize player safety by taking decisive action and displaying proactive awareness of potential risks.

Maintain a cheerful and encouraging attitude while building strong relationships with players, coaches, and families.

Demonstrate flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings, for the season duration (approximately 7 weeks).

Possess a smartphone with internet access.

Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check.
