Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking a Radiology Technologist (WEPP) to provide diagnostic imaging and assist physicians in expediting patient care. You will perform or assist in procedures, maintain safety, and ensure correct patient imaging identification and proper exam ordering.

The role requires Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License at hire, BLS within 90 days, and ARRT eligibility. Weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• AS required.
• KY Radiation Operator’s License at time of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire.
• Eligible for ARRT certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging for patients per department protocols and expedite needed care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and identify images and patients correctly.
• Order exams that match procedures and ensure proper interpretation readiness.
• Assist in QA reviews with student technologists and adhere to age-specific patient care.
