Job summary

Franklin Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse (LPN) to join our care team, working weekends (Friday-Sunday) in Franklin, TN.

You will focus on wound care, prevent and heal pressure ulcers, and collaborate with the wound care physician to ensure high-quality resident care. This role emphasizes education, team collaboration, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Tennessee.
• Wound care experience required.
• LTC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the community’s wound care program, working with the wound care physician.
• Oversee resident care related to the prevention and healing of pressure ulcers.
• Provide continuing education of wound care to staff and families.
• Participate in QAPI and execute wound care assessments.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

Wound Care Nurse Position Summary

As a Wound Care Nurse (LPN) at Franklin Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Focuses on the community’s wound care program, working with the wound care physician.
• Oversee resident care related to the prevention and healing of pressure ulcers.
• Provide continuing education of wound care to our staff and families.
• Participate in QAPI and execute wound care assessments.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
