Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking a Weekend Welding Instructor to join our Welding program. The role focuses on teaching Welding Technologies classes and providing hands-on training in our facilities. Prior teaching experience is not required, as comprehensive training is provided.

You will emphasize safety, mentor students, assess progress, and help prepare graduates for in-demand welding careers within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of field experience in Pipe or Structural Welding.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW, and Plasma Cutting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech’s accredited program.
• Provide hands-on welding training in a fully equipped facility.
• Emphasize safety procedures and industry standards in welding.
• Support student growth by promoting professionalism and accountability.
• Motivate and engage students to foster enthusiasm for welding careers.
• Evaluate student progress and provide clear feedback on performance.
• Prepare students for successful careers in welding technology.
