Job summary

Aaon Coil Products Inc. in Redmond, OR is seeking a Weld Helper for weekend shifts to support welding operations. You will assist Welders I & II, prepare parts, and help set up equipment in a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates will follow safety guidelines, read basic blueprints, and contribute to a fast-paced team. This full-time role offers a base pay of $21.50 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Assist welders with basic tasks and handle materials safely.
• Read simple welding blueprints and follow instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow procedures.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Welder I and Welder II in various welding tasks as directed.
• Prepare workpieces by cleaning, grinding and scraping as needed.
• Help set up welding equipment and tools under supervision.
• Handle and store welding materials and equipment properly.
• Operate power and hand tools under guidance.
• Read and interpret basic welding blueprints and instructions.
• Assist in tack welding components for final welds.
• Support safety and cleanliness throughout the shop.
• Learn and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Assist in training and mentoring new helpers as needed.
